5 days till the Gullett Gala!
We desperately need volunteers to sign up. Out of 61 volunteer spots we have 8 volunteers signed up. Please go to www.gullettgeckos.com and click on Gullett Silent Auction to sign up. This is the main fundraiser for Gullett so we can’t afford for it not to be a huge success.
Also, thus far we have 40% fewer ticket purchases this year so please get your tickets before Thursday 4/18.
If you haven’t decided on a costume yet check out the 80′s fashion statements to get your creative juices flowing…

Earth Day is Monday, April 22nd and the Green Team is planning earth friendly activities for April 22-26th. Please contact Laura DiCarlo at email@example.com
or 529-1701 if you’d like to help with craftsTuesday (4/23) and Friday (4/26) after school, or if you’d like to be a bike or walking train leader Wednesday, April 24th.
To kick off Earth Week we are having an e-waste pick up at Gullett 9am-noon this Saturday, April 20th. The cool thing is that Gullett gets a cut of the proceeds on items worth anything when recycled. All electronics securely wiped in the process, so bring in your old computers, cell phones, etc. and make room for all of the new stuff you’re going to bid on at the Gecko Gala!
Volunteer activities include making popcorn, distributing food to the kids, helping with crafts, playing board games, escorting kids to the bathroom, and more.
5:30-7:30 – dinner served to the kids (pizza, bananas, carrots, juice bags, brownies)
5:30-7:30 – kids can eat, make crafts or watch movie opener
7:30-9:00 – feature presentation “The Muppets Take Manhattan”
9:00-9:30 – will show Wallace and Grommitt shorts until last child is picked up
Earliest drop off is 5:30 and latest pick up is 9:30. No food will be allowed in the library so kids will be eating dinner and popcorn outside the library. Everything is free. Thanks to McCallum NHS and AVID students who have volunteered to help.
