The 2013 Gecko Gala (aka Silent Auction and Family Fun Night) is scheduled for Saturday, April 20 at 5:30 pm. This year’s theme is “Totally Awesome” and the party will feature an ‘80s Sing-Along by the Alamo Drafthouse, vintage video games, a delicious Craig O’s lasagna dinner, free kids’ activities, and – of course – bidding on fantastic items. 80’s attire is encouraged, so whether you were a Valley Girl, a hair band follower, or a prepster, dig out those clothes and get ready to go back to the future! We’ll also be having an ‘80s “Wall of Shame” to showcase those fabulous old photos of yourselves (and demonstrate how much we have all improved!). All proceeds will benefit the Gullett PTA, which in turn benefits Gullett teachers, staff and students!
